Isometric Assets

Asset Reconstruction: Photograph to 3D Render

Two asset-reconstruction examples: a photograph rebuilt as a 3D render, and hand-drawn sketches rebuilt as isometric assets.

To demonstrate her asset-reconstruction process, Lisa rebuilt real-world references as 3D assets in two ways: the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) facility at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska, from a reference photograph, and a satellite ground-station concept, from hand-drawn sketches.

Discipline: Isometric Assets
Client: Millennium Engineering and Integration Company

Side-by-side before and after comparison: a photograph of a Long Range Discrimination Radar display model, and a 3D render of the same facility on a grass field — Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) facility, Clear Air Force Station, Alaska: reference photograph (left) rebuilt as a 3D render (right).

Two sketch-to-isometric-asset examples: a hand-drawn lab bench layout rebuilt as an isometric server-room render, and a hand-drawn satellite tower sketch rebuilt as an isometric building, dish, and rocket asset — A second reconstruction path: hand-drawn concept sketches rebuilt as isometric assets.
